Life is a journey filled with uncertainty and mystery. We try to walk a straight line, keeping our steps under control, always questioning were the road will lead us. But every now and then, destiny delivers unforeseen alternatives, mystical and unexpected even to the keen eye. It's up to us to face those dilemmas with good judgment and take responsibility for our choices. Like every sailor is bounded to the winds and the will of the seas, so are we, as free souls, driven by the inspiration of poetry, music and passion... Fate doesn't rule the course of existence. You get to choose your own way, as hard it might be. Will you set sail or stay at the harbor? It is the weight of those decisions, and the pain and pleasure they can cause, that turns living into such a wonder. In the end mistakes won't be accountable. Noble deeds won't be rewarded. All thoughts, tears, smiles, gestures, every detail that defines who I am, who you are, all of that will belong to the memory of the ones that loved and hated you. I don't feel sad to know it. That is what makes each tick of the clock so precious, every sunset so colorful, every feeling so deep... Consider the possibilities, but don't get stuck to the past. What has already happened can't be changed. Instead we should all look into the the world trough the eyes of an experienced elder. Think on what might have been, but don't wish for it. Pursuit your dreams but don't use them to predict the future. Cry, if you must, and laugh every time you can. If possible do it at the same time! Enjoy your journey as I will enjoy mine.
